Gateway leadership

Sarah Scribner, MSW

Director of Strategic Development & Partnerships

Sarah builds the relationships that connect Gateway with physicians, hospitals, facilities, home health agencies and community organizations. Her focus is helping patients move between organizations without losing a clear point of contact.

Experience and perspective

Her work centers on practical relationships: who knows the patient, who is responsible for the next step and how the care team stays connected.

Sarah Scribner serves as Director of Strategic Development & Partnerships for Gateway Wound Care. She leads community engagement, strategic relationships, and regional practice development.

Working alongside healthcare providers, hospitals, post-acute partners, community organizations, and health-system leaders, Sarah focuses on building practical relationships for medically complex and high-risk patients.

A graduate of the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis, her background spans healthcare, nonprofit leadership, community development, and strategic partnerships. Before joining Gateway, she held leadership roles at Washington University in St. Louis and Steadfast City, where she built collaborative partnerships, led community engagement initiatives, secured grant funding, and worked alongside healthcare, civic, and nonprofit leaders.

At Gateway, Sarah connects the practice with the people and organizations already caring for patients throughout the region.
