Experience and perspective
He founded Gateway around a practical belief: professional judgment works best when the organization around it is reliable.
Daniel Orlov’s background is in investment and commercial real estate transactions. He later worked on the development of a mobile wound-care practice in New York.
That work showed him how easily a sound treatment plan can fail when scheduling, supplies, documentation, communication or follow-up break down around the patient.
Daniel founded Gateway Wound Care to build a regional practice with strong clinical leadership and dependable operations. He does not make clinical decisions. His role is to recruit the right clinicians, fund the work responsibly and make sure the organization supports professional judgment.
He leads staffing, operating systems, capital planning and regional development for Gateway.
